Top Note Christmas

This is a great card to use those scraps of Designer Series Paper on-I used the Christmas Cheer Simply Scrappin' Kit paper for this card. Simply punch out squares, line them up on card stock for a quilt look, then run through the Big Shot with the Top Note die. I love the new Glimmer Brads too!

Tree Trimmings Card

The stamp set used for this card is called Tree Trimmings (Pg. 44 of the catalog) and is a beautiful stamp set. The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set (Pg. 157). The Basic Rhinestones add a little Christmas magic to the card. :) This is a very simple and clean cut card. Hope you enjoy it!

Card stock: Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive

Christmas Wine Bottle Topper

Who wouldn't love to get a dolled up wine bottle like this?! I CASE'd this adorable idea from Linda Joyce Steele; you can see her blog here. This would also make a cute door hanger, or Olive Oil topper. I used a square punch and the Word Window punch to make the snowman's hat. The antique brads give the scarf that perfect touch. My snowman reminds me of Tim Burton's characters! :)

Sweet Snowglobe

This card was a lot of fun to make with my girls. We used the new Sweet Snowglobe stamp from the Holiday Mini Catalog, which coordinates with the treat cups. The Cherry Cobbler card stock and ink are perfect for Christmas. There is glitter inside the treat cup, so it feels like a real snowglobe. Christmas really is sneaking up quickly; start your planning!

Make Merry Milk Carton

I love this new Mini Milk Carton die from Stampin' Up! It only uses half a sheet of 8.5" x 11" and is a snap to assemble. I stamped on the Bashful Blue card stock, then added the tag to the mini clip with twine. To the tag, I added a rhinestone to give it a Christmas feel.

Beary Fun Box

Isn't this little box so cute? I got the directions for this box at my upline's meeting. You can see Sandy's adorable snowflake box and wonderful directions on her blog post HERE. I had this little Mrs. Bear Clause laying around, so she was perfect for the box. I made the box without a handle, then added one later with silver brads. It's the perfect size for some homemade goodies.

Online Stamping Club/Webinars

So, what is a Webinar anyway???

On-Line WEBINARS offer a simple method of teaching that can be done on a large scale by specific presenters. WEBINAR technology allows us to have live meetings and trainings, simultaneously at locations across the country reducing the cost for the club members of travel and lodging expenses. It also allows me to increase the contact and education, across the country.
The technology allows the WEBINAR participant to see the presenter's computer screen and to hear the presenter live through their computer. So, for example, if there was a power point training going on, the participant would see the power point and hear the presenter, LIVE. All of this LIVE and INTERACTIVE! The participants, at any time, can ask questions and interact through a question and answer section of the WEBINAR program. Best of all, the WEBINAR does not cost the participants anything other than their registration costs. You just need your stamping supplies to participate in the Webinars.
In short, ON-LINE WEBINAR Club Meetings allow the stamper to plug into the latest information, on a consistent basis, and get continued education, on a consistent basis, from any location.
My Webinars also offer a tremendous business tool for other demonstrators, as classes and written PDF directions are perks of registering for my On-Line Stamping Club...it's a no-brainer!

Snow Much Fun

Isn't this guy adorable? My Technique Club (and Scrapbooking Club) gals loved this guy. This card was cased from a swap I received from Lynn Wegleitner. It's sooo easy.

To make this card you'll need:
1 3/4", 1 3/8" & 1 1/4" Circle Punches
Carstock: Bermuda Bay (5 1/2" x 8 1/2"), Whisper White (1 1/2" x 4", 2" x 4" and scraps for circles), Basic Black (5 1/4" x 4"), Pumpkin Pie
Silver Brads
Bermuda Bay Polka-dot Grosgrain Ribbon,
Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker
Basic Black Classic Stampin' Pad
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set
Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
2 Way Glue Pen
Dimensionals
Glue Dot

Directions: Adhere Basic Black Cardstock to folded Bermuda Bay card base. Tear along 2 sheets of Whisper White and apply glitter to torn edges. Layer the Whisper White peices to bottom of Basic Black cardstock, leaving a space to insert the snowman. Stamp greeting along bottom. Punch out 3 sizes of circles and layer together. Attach brads to body, as well as ribbon knot. Draw eyes and cut out a triangle for the carrot nose. Adhere completed snowman to card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Give this card to a special someone! :)

Christmas Bear

Here's my first Build-A-Bear to actually make it onto a card! I used some scraps from the Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin' Kit to make this card. Do you like her purse? To make it, just cut out 2 purses in different colors/patterns, then cut out (along perforation) the middle section, and mount onto purse. I'm already in Christmas mode. :)

Christmas Tags

I've been quite the busy bee stamper lately! One of my favorite stamping friends, Stephanie, came over this weekend to make these adorable tags and box. They are pretty much the same as the photo on page 14 of the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog, but I think our creation is even cuter. :) This will be a fun and pretty quick class. I'm working on an awesome project now, so keep checking back.
Don't forget to sign up for my Mailing List on the right sidebar, or you can become a Follower of my blog. I have some HUGE STAMPIN' NEWS coming up for stampers world-wide!
Sign up here to attend this class at my home...sorry...no mail orders for this one! Class will be Friday night at 7:00 on Sept. 18th.

January Scrapbooking Club Pages

I Isn't my little guy cute? I'll treasure these times that he actually enjoys going to take pictures at a studio! This is a very simple layout. There are red flowers stamped along the red cardstock...just hard to see here. The little holes at the bottom right corner were punched with the Crop-A-Dile. I used the 1" Circle punch to create the large scallops behind the 2 pictures. The Winter Slope DSP was used along the bottoms. The buttons have the White Gel Pen between the holes for a faux sewn look. I try to make my pages pretty neutral so that they will work for boys or girls. Now I'll make the same layout and just throw on my daughter's pictures. I usually make the pages with my son's pictures to keep myself from making it too girly!

Christmas Eve and Day were very exciting and fun filled for my family. I dropped by to visit and bake with friends, then we heading off to visit with my husband's side of the family, which was extra special since his sister secretly flew in Charlie's brother and family from NC. We had just been saying how sad we weren't that this was their first Christmas away from us...so there were more tears when they showed up! :)

On Christmas Day, the kiddos opened their many gifts from Mommy, Daddy and Santa...what a mess! Their favorite gifts were their scooters. I got a laptop and new camera "for my Stampin' Up! stuff." We then went to my parents' to visit with my side and stayed for such a long time...we were all rocking out to Guitar Hero...guess what my hubby bought today on his lunch hour?!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their family!

Christmas

Here's Gaby and Gordon, just before we left to Gaby's Christmas Program. She was so funny...she did all the hand movements and would smile and wave to me during the performance, but didn't sing a word! :) They looked so cute and sweet that night.
