CASE'd Card

Here's the card swap that I just had to CASE. I thought it would be a great card for my Stamp-A-Stack class. This swap (blue card with the cute dress) is from Robin Castagnola. I used Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper and the Eastern Blooms stamp set. I got the 2 colors onto the stamp by first ining the stamp in the Kiwi Kiss ink pad, then I used a cotton swab to remove the ink from the flowers. Last, I used my Rose Red Stampin' Write Marder to color onto the flowers...such a pretty effect. Isn't the rhinestone brad cute?! I've been using my Pretties Kit quite a bit lately...I'm out of the flowers though! The Kiwi Kiss cardstock was embossed with the Texturz Plates...it's so hard not to use those now! :)

Woo Hoo Meeting Pics!

Saturday was the annual "Woo Hoo Stampers" California meeting that my upline, Michelle Halleen, puts on. It was a great day...great presentations, speakers, Make & Takes and chatting with other stampers. The four Make & Take projects are sooo adorable, don't you think? Michelle was very organized and had goodies for us as you can see...the memo pad, pen, SU! chapstick and matchbox...all coordinating, of course! Thanks, Michelle for a wonderful day and for inviting me to speak at the event. I will be posting more this week from the meeting. I got some really cute swaps! :)

Easter

Here's the "girly" layout for Easter. See previous post for the more boyish or neutral pages. I also added another photo to the left side and moved the yellow strip to the left side, so technically this is a different layout. It was too hard to leave out a photo, so I used all four of the 5x7 pictures. Jeez...my kids cost me too much money when we take professional pictures because they're so great during the sessions, that I can't pass up all the cute pictures! :) My Scrapbooking Club will choose pink or blue for their background paper. One member won't be there...she just had her baby boy today...so exciting!

April Scrap Club Pages

Here's the layout for this month's Scrapbooking Club. I started to ink the edges of the oval around the bunny, then thought, "Hey, this would be good for grass!" So, I only inked the bottom, and I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter onto the eggs. The ovals are circles were made with the Colluzle. I used the Enjoy Every Moment & An Egg-cellent Easter stamp sets. Colors are: Certainly Celery, Pretty i Pink, Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue, Whisper White and Barely Banana. And yes, I used my new Scallop Oval Punch...again! :) Click on photos to see enlarged. I will also let my ladies choose Pretty in Pink or Bashful Blue for their 12x12 backgroud. Hope you all had a great Easter.

Here's the other card that will go into the Top Note Purse Tote, also using the Puns from the Past stamp set. Hope the ladies like this month's club projects!

Baby Buggy Card

Here is one of the 3x3 cards to go into the Top Note Purse Tote. (See yesterday's post)

The Very Vanilla cardstock was embossed with the Big Shot & Texturz Plates. One of my club gals asked if I would use the Puns from the Past stamp set to give her ideas, so here's one idea. I wanted to show her that you can separate the image and the greeting.

Top Note Purse Tote

These Top Note Purse Totes are too cute! I finally sat down to make one today, using the samples that Patty posted on her blog here. I made this before she sent me the tutorial, so it's a bit different...Thank you, Patty! :) Velcro was used to keep the purse closed securely. I used the Texturz Plates for the top flap and a cute Vanilla brad. It seemed too sad to not use my new Oval All stamp set and Scallop Oval Punch from the new Occasions Mini Catalog..so I used them! The Designer Paper is Candy Lane. You can see a similar sample, without the fold over top here. My Club ladies will make this and 2 matching cards to go inside...I'll post those soon. Click here to view the new Mini Occasions Catalog.
