Just for Fun...

Not bad, only about a year behind for this layout! I was thrilled to make this since it was "just for fun." Usually I only scrapbook when I'm planning a stamp club meeting, so this was a step forward. I also just finished a mini album that I'll post soon...yay for me! I used more of the leftover Bright Delights rub-ons to make this, and did a little stamping. Click on photo to enlarge.
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Ink: Kiwi Kiss, Pink Passion
Accessories: Hodgepodge Hardware, Felt Flowers, Bright Delights Rub-ons, Big Shot & Top Note die, Pink Passion & Chocolate Chip Stampin' Write Markers
Stamps: Sweet Celebrations, Enjoy Every Moment

Post-it Holder Frame

Of all the post-it note frames that I've made over the years, I still haven't made one for myself! This holder is for one of my favorite customers that's starting a new job, so I thought I would give her a "Good Luck" gift. I started with an acrylic frame, then layered the cardstock on top. I used some of my "Bright Delights" leftovers for this project. The little rub-on flowers were just the right size to punch with my Trio Flower punch. Someday I'll make one for me! :)

Sweet Love

My 9 year wedding anniversary is right around the corner, so I made a card for my hubby, using the "Bright Delights" Rub-ons. I made the part that the owl's standing on by not "rubbing" 2 of the branches. The colors look a lot better in person...not much sunlight here while taking pictures today! I used cardstock (besides the Whisper White) to coordinate with the rub-ons: Rose Red, Chocoate Chip and Kiwi Kiss. I decorated the inside of the card too, since I wanted to incorporate the "9". I'm almost finished with my daughter's mini scrapbook album of her first birthday...and she'll be 4 in a couple weeks! haha Better late than never...

Stampin' Up! for Dioramas!

Yes, I incorporated a bit of Stampin' Up! into my Kindergartener's diorama. :) The little girl's legs are made of wire and I didn't know how I was going to make her stand, so I tried out our fabulous Crystal Effects and it worked like a charm! I also included my son's information onto the Top Note die and adhered it with our Sticky Strip.

Bright Delights Rub-ons Class Projects

Here they are...the 5 projects for my "Bright Delights Rub-ons Class." There was zero stamping for these projects and it was so quick and easy to make the projects since the "Bright Delights" come in such great colors. I got the idea for this class from Patty Bennett. You can see her class that she did on her post HERE. If you're in So. Cal. and would like to attend this class next month, email me here.

Bright Delights Top Note Box

Here's the final project for the Bright Delights Class. Isn't Rose Red a great color? I had so much fun creating projects with these wonderful rub-ons, and can't wait to share these ideas with "my girls." We made a box like this at Michelle Halleen's annual downline meeting and she provided wonderful directions...thanks, Michelle! This would be a great box for jewelery, like a pair of earrings, candy is always an option, a gift card, little note cards, tags, wallet-sized photos, eyelets, brads, punch candy, and I'm sure much more! Let me know if you have more ideas.

May Technique Club Projects

Wow...it's already time to meet with my Clubs next weekend! I used the ideas that I got from the Woo Hoo Stampers downline meeting for the gift card holder and box: Click here to view the projects from the meeting. The card idea came from the mini card on page 133 of the Idea Book & Catalog , and uses the Wonderful Favorites stamp set, which I really like for cards scrapbooking.

Teacher Appreciation Frame

Have you thanked a teacher? This frame was made for my daughter's preschool teacher, Miss Sarah. My daughter adores her and the preschool celebrated their teachers last week. I had stampers over this past weekend to make family frames. I have certainly gotten my money's worth for this stamp set...actually...I may have earned this set for free! :)
