Third Batch of Convention Swaps

Well, I got a burst of energy last night and decided to make some more swaps for Convention. Now I have over 70! I made 20 of these. I first made the card with the filled in flower centers, but decided to go with the other design instead. I can't wait for Convention! :)

I had fun showing my Scrapbook Club how to use the Brocade Flourish Decor Stencil, so I wanted to use the stencil and same ideas with my Technique Club, so I made this card. It's simple and pretty. They really liked the ribbon technique too. Check out the coordinating scrapbook pages on my post HERE.

Fancy Favor Peacock Box

Ahh...this die is too awesome! My girls had fun using this die at our club meeting. I especially love this box because it needs very little Sticky Strip. First we punched the die out, then stamped the background on using stamps from the Circle Circus set; everyone did their box a bit differently...love that! Then, we attached the 1/2" Polka Dot Melon Mambo ribbon around the box. I thought the peacock from the new Ronald McDonald set was so cute, so I stamped that with the Melon Mambo ink and punched it out with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch, then matted that onto Soft Suede cardstock that was punched out with 2 Round Tab Punch pieces, to create a larger circle.

Recipe: Stamps: Very Thankful, Circle Circus Cardstock: Whisper White, Soft Suede, Kraft Ink: Melon Mambo Accessories: 1/2" Polka Dot Melon Mambo Ribbon, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Round Tab Punch, Big Shot, Stampin' Up! Fancy Favor Box, Sticky Strip

Elegant Bouquet

Isn't this a fun card. I have to admit I haven't used Orchid Opulence in years, but I'm diggin' this color, along with the other purple shades. I used my Elegant Bouquet Textured Impression Embossing Folder to create the beautiful embossing on this card, then added the butterfly with my new Butterfly Punch, using a scrap of the gorgeous Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper.

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes Cardstock: Orchid Opulence, Whisper White, Old Olive Ink: Old Olive Accessories: Old Olive Ribbon, Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Cottage Wall DSP, Punches-Butterfly, Modern Label, Scallop Oval

Wanted Layout

I've been catching up on some more scrap- booking. I have rarely used my Wanted stamp set, so I was happy to use it on this page. I used the Brocade Flourish Decor Stencil for the background, because I'm still having so much fun with it. I made the same layout for my son's pages, except I decided not to use the stencil on the base, and I used twine instead of ribbon.
Recipe:
Stamps-Wanted
Cardstock: Kraft, Real Red, Night of Navy, Chocoate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red, Night of Navy, Chocoate Chip
Accessories: Ribbon, Dimensionals, Brocade Flourish Decor Stencil, Sponge, Modern Label, 1" Circle, 1 1/4" Circle, Scallop Circle, Scallop Edge, Round Tab Punches
