My Rock A Bye Baby Girl Simply Scrappin' Kit is here...now it's time to create! I wanted to show just how much you get in these awesome kits, and for $19.95, it's a real bargain! I am going to have a "Baby Book Class" soon. I chose to work with the girl kit, so my sample can go to my sister, Karen, who will be welcoming baby girl #3 in a few months. I have started my sketches for this class, and I can't wait to actually sit down and throw the pieces together. This kit also coordinates with the Nursery Necessities stamp set, which I happen to have. :) This will be a Bind-It-All project, and I'll most likely offer this as a kit by mail.

Big Shot Card
I needed to come up with a quick and simple project to demonstrate the BIG SHOT at my downline meeting, so I went to an inspirational spot...yes, Patty's blog to find an idea...and this is what I got. The gals had fun using the machine for the first time. The cardstock is: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point and Kiwi Kiss. The stamped greeting is from "Flight of the Butterfly" and we used the new Scallop Edge punch along the bottom. Sorry the lighting isn't too good on this. Thanks for looking...all the swaps were great and I can't wait to see what the group comes up with for our next meeting...we're having our Christmas gift exchange...love hand-stamped gifts! Thanks again for my birthday pie, Nicolle! :)

Mi Familia
Big Shot!!!
Yippee!!! My Big Shot arrived today. I was on my way to Disneyland this morning, then panicked for a moment when I saw MY UPS driver turned at the intersection because I remembered my Big Shot was arriving today...but hey...I couldn't flip a u-turn and disappoint my 3 & 5 year-olds, could I? :) My boxes were waiting for me when I got home. I totally CASE'd this project from one of my favorite stamping friends, Patty Bennett. I put the cute chapsticks form convetnion inside the cellu bags. These are swaps/gifts fro my downline meeting next week. Our swap theme is Fall/Halloween. This was too fun and quick to make...I can't wait to "play" more with the Big Shot tonight while my hubby's at his softball game. I used Tangerine Tango, So Saffron, Chocolate Chip and Old Olive cardstock to give this a Fall feel for the swap.

Kindergarten Boxes
I finally sat down to make these Kindergarten boxes for my son and Godson that are starting Kindergarten in just a couple weeks. I was going to do all stamping with the Staz-On Ink, but I went with a retired Simply Scrappin' Kit instead. I put the DS paper under the inside of the lid and hid the Sticky Strip behind the stickers...my son liked it. :) This will be his supply box to do his homework...pray he doesn't get too much...even coloring becomes a battle at times! haha

Scrapbook Club Pages
I had so much fun Scrapbooking with my club members this weekend. My Technique Club made a pizza box w/ matching cards & envelopes...love those! This was a simple layout and the ladies were very happy to complete a double page spread...many haven't had the time to scrapbook at home, so they're thrilled to be able to whip out pages every month! There are 1" circles (from the punch) scattered along the cardstock....just hard to see here. There's also a bit of glitter on the 3 fireworks and we used the See You Around Jumbo Wheel along the bottom, under the white stars. The cardstock colors are: Real Red, Whisper White, Pacific Point and Baja Breeze.
I have some fun class ideas coming up...with my Bind-It-All, I'm planning a Baby's First Year Book, using the adorable baby Simply Scrappin' Kits that Stampin' Up! has. Also, my BIG SHOT Die Cut machine will be here on Wednesday...yippee! That'll surely open the door to tons of classes...I'd love to have a Halloween class. :)

Convention Excitement & Swaps
It was so fun and amazing when the UPS man came out with a box, and Shelli announced that EVERYONE there was going to recieve a Free Stamp Set! :) The crowd went wild and confetti fell down all around. Here is Lori (purple) who is my sis-in-law and downline and Kresta (my cousin-in-law) in green. I also have just a few of my favorite swaps...I need to retake a few more batches of pictures. The cupcake was our dessert for lunch one day...too cute! The adorable gift set is from Corie...thank you! It's a new In-Color Swatch that includes items and order numbers from the catalog for each of the new 6 colors! The cupcake container is a game! The rectangular one is a wrapped pack of gum...she's so talented and sweet!
Products & Projects
As you can see, there are a lot of new and exciting products that will be available on August 11th. The newest to be announced (and is not featured in the upcoming catalog) is the Big Shot, by Sizzix. That's the large, blck machine pictued above. There are beautiful die cuts and surely more will be adding over time. I can't decide if I should get it now...there is a special promo and preorder for demonstrators that attending Convention. The Make & Take projects were fun...I'm standing next to Jennifer L., who was sweet enough to approach me and tell me she's a "fan" of my blog!
My absolute favorite project all week was this ADORABLE decked out onesie! My sister is having a baby girl soon...can't wait!
Convention Photos
I have sooo many project and swap photos to share, so I'll have to sort those a bit more and post soon. Here are some people photos! I hope Jaron never remembers me...he may have to put out a restraining order...haha. He and Linda cracked up at my silly fingernail.
Patty Bennett is sporting her lei (She earned the Hawaii trip) and was selected 95th Top Demo. and will be sitting on the SU! Advisory Board...you go, Girl! I got to take a picure with 3 out of my 4 Uplines too. :)
