Teacher Gift

My baby boy, Gordon, is starting Kindergarten on Thursday! I'm happy but sad at the same time...his school is full-day, so that'll be quite a change for us all...he's excited, so I am too. I put together a quick first day of school gift for his teacher....20 boxes of crayons and sticky notes. I copied this card from a convention swap...no name on the back to give credit...sorry! I'll try my best not to be a silly sobbing mom on the first day! :)

I don't think you'd be a real mommy if you didn't cry. On my son's 1st day of Kindergarten I thought I was excited to have him start B-cuz I had so many things I wanted to do for me. But then the teacher gave everyone a poem about how our little ones were growing up and...I lost it and started crying in the parking lot. I really missed him at first. He is in 3rd grade now and I still go thru mixed feelings on the 1st day of school every year. I just treasure our time together B-cuz they grow up so fast!!
Luv your card...I may have to case thgat one for my son's teacher!! :-)
