Progressive Scrapbooking

I had a workshop this weekend with Scrap- bookers, so their Make-And-Take project was a 6x6 scrapbook page. I showed them how to incorporate that into a larger layout. So, I placed the 6x6 page onto a very slightly stamped 8.5x11 page, and finally mounted that onto a 12x12 that basically had a wheeled image along the bottom. The hostess received both pages. I used the adorable Sale-A-Bration set, Polka Dot Punches and Simply Said stamp sets, along with Wonderful Favorites and an alphabet set.. Cardstock colors and ink are: Kraft, Baja Breeze, Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip and Mellow Moss. I used a bit of of the Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware and some Chocolate Chip ribbon.

Card with Texturz Plate

This card was especially fun to make since I used the new Texturz Plates from Stampin' Up! It looks fantastic in person and it's so quick and easy to add the embossing to a project. I used Vanilla brads for the center of the flowers...thanks for this idea, Rose. I snipped off the prongs so they weren't so long. The So Saffron ribbon is from the Ribbon Bundle in the Sale-A-Bration brochure...isn't is pretty? I will demonstrate how to make this card at my workshop tomorrow. I'm sure they'll fall in love with the Big Shot when they see how pretty the cardstock is. Those Texturz Plates are a fantastic deal!

Spotlight on Nicolle

My customer spotlight goes to Nicolle this time! Nicolle was introduced to me by my sister and offered to have a workshop right after I signed up to be a demonstrator, almost 3 years ago. She didn't really know what stamping was. Well, she got hooked mighty quickly! She had a few workshops with me and attended many classes, then decided (with my gentle pushing!) to sign up as a demonstrator herself. She recently dropped due to working full time, having 2 little ones and going to school...what an excuse! haha I don't know where she finds her energy! She's studying to be a nurse. Nicolle is now a member of my Sassy Scrappers Club, so I still get to stamp with her, and I'm sure she'll be my fellow demonstrator some day when her life is a bit less crazy.

Baby Boy Books

It's raining little boys! These books are so fun to make, and with only half a pack of the Simply Scrappin' kits. You can see one is a "Grandma" book. I made one for my friend that just had her baby and the others are for customers that ordered books. No stamping required! For full directions and views of each page, check out this post: http://stampingwithaimee.blogspot.com/search?q=baby+book

You can also get information from the 2 posts underneath about how to ORDER A BABY BOOK and how to make the Baby Girl book.

My Hostess Made This...

Isn't this cute? This hostess, Betty, is having an in-home workshop in March, so she made her own invitations! She's very excited for her workshop, as am I. She wrote such a beautiful message inside the invitation...click on on to enlarge it. Great job, Betty!

Teacher Valentine Treats

Wow, was See's Candy crowded today! There were only 2 ladies working and people were packed in there...poor gals! I got some of their yummy candy bars to give to my kids' teachers. I used the Candy Lane Desinger Series Paper to cover the bars and for the heart punches.
