12 Pocket Card Organizer

I did it! I made my first 12 Pocket Card Organizer. I will have this class on July 13th, and I'm very excited. This is a great way to store your cards month-by-month. There is a calendar on each page so you can write birthdays, etc. Also, there is a pocket on each page so you can store cards. Thank you to Patty Bennett for all of your help on this project idea!

Happy Card

This card was inspired on a card I saw on SCS. The Old Olive cardstock you see is 5 of the 1 1/4 inch Circle Punches overlapping eachother to give this cool effect. I can never get enough of my punches, so I loved this idea. We will be making this card at my next Stampmazing Club. Also, the stamped the polka dots onto the red ribbon by using th Whisper White Craft pad & the dots from "Polka Dots & Paisely." I seldom use that set, so I was HAPPY to use it. :)

Folding Flowers!

Isn't this a fun card? Helen Jimenez showed us how to make this type of fold at the last demonstrator meeting. It's so easy and fun...I'll share this idea with my Stamp Club next week. I'm sending this card off to a special lady, so I hope it stays nice in the mail!

My first BIA Project!

I finally got brave and tried out my Bind-It-All Machine...I made this little memo pad and it turned out great. It was really easy to set the wires into the holes. :) I can't wait to make more projects! The inside of the memo pad has Bashful Blue cardstock, so you could even use this as a tiny scrapbook. :)

Dad Camp

My Dad Camp Projects are complete..."boy" is it a lot harder to come up with masculine projects...I still managed to get some ribbon in without making it too girlish. :)
This camp will be June 1st from 11:30-1:00 and includes all supplies to make these 3 projects...Card & Envelope, 5x5 "Dad" Journal/Scrapbook and the post-it holder frame. The fee is only $15, but I will only take the first 9 to sign up!
If you don't want to make this for Dad, you can make it for anyone...it would be a cute Graduation or end-of-the year/season gift for a teacher or coach.

Father's Day Journal

This was too fun and quick to make...I think I may add a bit more to it, but this will be part of my "DAD" Stamp Camp on June 1st. This is using the 5x5 Art Journal that is being offered at a great discount this month from Stampin' Up! The Spiral Punch coordinated perfectly, by no accident, to punch out perfect holes. I thought the Jersey Shore Designer Series paper was perfect for men. I left a quarter inch around the 3 sides and sponged Brilliant Blue ink...this really cuts down on sanding and dust! Thanks, Michelle!

Another cute Tote

Isn't this adorable? Patty Bennett led the Woo Hoo Stampers through this adorable project of hers, and using a Simply Scappin' Kit made it very easy and fast! The tote was made with only one piece of 12 x 12 Designer Paper! The 3x3 cards and envelopes fit perfectly inside...so cute.

My Mother's Day Gift!

After seeing the awesome projects that Patty Bennett has on her blog, and watching her demonstrate how easy it is to use, I knew I had to have the Bind-It-All Machine! I told my husband about it, and he was able to track one down on EBay from a lady that lives close by, so yesterday we drove over to get it...I pretended not to know what I was getting, but he said, "You know what it is already, so you don't have to wait til Sunday." :)

I was thrilled to have the bag as well and some of ther other little accessories. I can't wait to plan my first class with it.

Convention Registration Poem...by me

The Night Before Registration

Twas the night before registration,
and all thru' the house,
not a creature was stirring, God I hope not even a mouse!

I tossed and I turned, hoping to wake up at 4,
If I missed registration,
I'd put a hole in the door!

My children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of free stamps danced in my head.

I woke and sat up to see 3:56 am on the clock,
'I'll go back to sleep,' I thought...
But just could not!

Away to the computer I flew like a flash,
I logged on as I squinted to block the bright light,
Man am I happy we've already got our flight!

My computer was so slow, wouldn't you know?

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,But a "you are registered message",
30 long minutes later as I had feared.

I'm in, I'm done, I'm going to Salt Lake,
I better go back to sleep,
With all this excitement, I better count sheep.
