This is a great card to use those scraps of Designer Series Paper on-I used the Christmas Cheer Simply Scrappin' Kit paper for this card. Simply punch out squares, line them up on card stock for a quilt look, then run through the Big Shot with the Top Note die. I love the new Glimmer Brads too!Thursday, December 9, 2010

Big Shot HAIR!
One of my favorite stampin' pals, Stephanie, came over to make hair bows with me. It was my first time, so I still need a lot more practice! Here are the bows I came up with. :) I used brads and other embellishments that I had already and cut out various shapes from the Big Shot and did a tiny bit of stitching, then attached a hair pin to the back side of each bow. These could also be worn on a blouse with a pin. I plan to keep practicing.

Christmas Wine Bottle Topper

Who wouldn't love to get a dolled up wine bottle like this?! I CASE'd this adorable idea from Linda Joyce Steele; you can see her blog here. This would also make a cute door hanger, or Olive Oil topper. I used a square punch and the Word Window punch to make the snowman's hat. The antique brads give the scarf that perfect touch. My snowman reminds me of Tim Burton's characters! :) Tuesday, September 21, 2010

Colorful Butterfly Card
I love the Island Oasis Designer Series Paper...don't forget that you only have until the end of this month to order this paper and all other goodies from the Summer Mini Catalog! I used the new self adhesive pearls for the center of the die cut butterfly. I thought this card turned out to be a fun, colorful and happy card.Wednesday, August 4, 2010

Butterflies
Here's another card that was totally CASE'd from the Stampin' Success magazine (a monthly magazine that Stampin' Up! demonstrators receive for free!). The creator is Stephanie Cadrette. I thought it was adorable, so we made this for my Technique Club this month. The butterflies were inked in Marina Mist, Melon Mambo and Concord Crush.Saturday, July 31, 2010
Surfer Build-A-Bear
I LOVE this card! I totally CASE'd this card from my blogging stampin' friend, Rose Marie, who has a fantastic blog. Check out her card HERE. I didn't have the same paper that she used, so I decided to use a sponge and Whisper White craft ink to create an outdoor feel onto Marina Mist card stock. Also, I used Stampin' Up!'s new Log Cabin Smooch Spritz Spray to create a realistic looking sand base; it looks really great in person. Thanks for this great idea, Rose! :)

Just for you Fancy Favor Box
I love this die for the Big Shot! This box is so easy to assemble and is a great size. I used the new Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz on the pink flowers. The flowers and leaf were made from the new Island Floral die. Card stock: Pretty in Pink, Kraft (soon to be "Crumb Cake"), Regal Rose and Certainly Celery.

I LOVE my customer & monthly club member, Stephanie! She was the hostess for this month's Technique Club, so she wanted to come up with a project...she came up with these adorable birthday organizers. Everyone picked their DSP, colors and punches. She used the Card, Telephone & Address die for Big Shot to create the monthly pages. Since our club meeting was on Valentine's Day, she also brought me the cute milk cartons in a holder, filled with treats...she's awesome...Thanks, Stephanie!Monday, August 24, 2009
Retirement Card
My mom's a retired woman now! :) I'm so happy for her. We had a surprise dinner for her last night; it was a fun, adult-only evening. I made her this card, and used a SAB set (Congrats) since it was a prefect sentiment. I got her the Snuggie as a gift...seemed like a fun and humorous gift that she'll be able to use.Recipe:

2009 Butterfly Swap

Yay...I got 50 swaps completed today! Here's the first style (I did 25 of 2 different styles). Each card is a bit different, since I used a variety of prints from the Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper. Also, I ran out of silver brads, so I put half back pearls on some of the cards.

Fancy Favor Peacock Box

Ahh...this die is too awesome! My girls had fun using this die at our club meeting. I especially love this box because it needs very little Sticky Strip. First we punched the die out, then stamped the background on using stamps from the Circle Circus set; everyone did their box a bit differently...love that! Then, we attached the 1/2" Polka Dot Melon Mambo ribbon around the box. I thought the peacock from the new Ronald McDonald set was so cute, so I stamped that with the Melon Mambo ink and punched it out with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch, then matted that onto Soft Suede cardstock that was punched out with 2 Round Tab Punch pieces, to create a larger circle.

Elegant Bouquet

Isn't this a fun card. I have to admit I haven't used Orchid Opulence in years, but I'm diggin' this color, along with the other purple shades. I used my Elegant Bouquet Textured Impression Embossing Folder to create the beautiful embossing on this card, then added the butterfly with my new Butterfly Punch, using a scrap of the gorgeous Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper.

Sweet Love

My 9 year wedding anniversary is right around the corner, so I made a card for my hubby, using the "Bright Delights" Rub-ons. I made the part that the owl's standing on by not "rubbing" 2 of the branches. The colors look a lot better in person...not much sunlight here while taking pictures today! I used cardstock (besides the Whisper White) to coordinate with the rub-ons: Rose Red, Chocoate Chip and Kiwi Kiss. I decorated the inside of the card too, since I wanted to incorporate the "9". I'm almost finished with my daughter's mini scrapbook album of her first birthday...and she'll be 4 in a couple weeks! haha Better late than never...
