Monthly Club Projects
Above is the layout my Scrapbooking Club made yesterday. The page was inspired from a layout my customer, Nicolle, made...and her layout was inspired from a card I made. :)
The tote and note cards were the projects for my Technique Club. I'm still stuck on purple! :) I thought these would be cute for Valentine's Day, or any occasion. We used the Chit Chat rub-ons for the greetings.(Click on photos to enlarge)

Christmas Club Gifts

For my 2 club meetings today, we had a gift exchange so I made the same gift for each club; an altered chipboard clipboard with a matching bag. I got a cute stationary set from one club gift exchange and a cute Christmas 12 x 12 scrapbook page layout from the other- I may have to copy that layout for next month's scrapbook club! Also, I gave each club member a decorated memo pad. Yes, I'm still in purple mode!

Things I Love...

I'm lagging on my blog postings lately! These are the pages that my Sassy Scrapbooking Club members made last week. I used some of my goodies that I got from Convention, in case you didn't notice. :) This is probably the simplest layout we've ever made. I made the page, then found these funny, old pictures of my daughter. The pictures show things that she really loves: Her brother, hanging out at her favorite restaurant in Newport Beach, being silly and eating! I love the Dotted Lines Jumbo Wheel to add a fun design, but I also thought it would be perfect for journaling, so I masked off the sides of the journaling paper with sticky notes and wheeled onto the paper for perfect journaling lines.Recipe

Last Chance Scrappin'

I'm using some retiring items for this month's Scrapbooking Club...I'll miss the In Colors, but the new ones are really fabu! :) This was probably the simplest layout that I've created for the club, but I love the little popsicle embellishment. That idea came from an adorable card that Patty made over a year ago. It would be cute to have the popsicle open to add some journaling, but I decided to keep it closed. (Click on phots to see more detail)

Easter

Here's the "girly" layout for Easter. See previous post for the more boyish or neutral pages. I also added another photo to the left side and moved the yellow strip to the left side, so technically this is a different layout. It was too hard to leave out a photo, so I used all four of the 5x7 pictures. Jeez...my kids cost me too much money when we take professional pictures because they're so great during the sessions, that I can't pass up all the cute pictures! :) My Scrapbooking Club will choose pink or blue for their background paper. One member won't be there...she just had her baby boy today...so exciting!

April Scrap Club Pages

Here's the layout for this month's Scrapbooking Club. I started to ink the edges of the oval around the bunny, then thought, "Hey, this would be good for grass!" So, I only inked the bottom, and I added some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter onto the eggs. The ovals are circles were made with the Colluzle. I used the Enjoy Every Moment & An Egg-cellent Easter stamp sets. Colors are: Certainly Celery, Pretty i Pink, Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue, Whisper White and Barely Banana. And yes, I used my new Scallop Oval Punch...again! :) Click on photos to see enlarged. I will also let my ladies choose Pretty in Pink or Bashful Blue for their 12x12 backgroud. Hope you all had a great Easter.

Valentine's Day Scrapbook Pages

My Scrapbook Club will make these pages this weekend. I used Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, and Pink Pirouette cardstock, along with the cute Candy Lane Designer Series Paper. I just had to incorporate the NEW Scallop Oval Punch that I was able to preorder as a demonstrator. Isn't is cute? I used my Love You Much set for most images. This is my daughter...now almost 4! Progressive Scrapbooking
I had a workshop this weekend with Scrap- bookers, so their Make-And-Take project was a 6x6 scrapbook page. I showed them how to incorporate that into a larger layout. So, I placed the 6x6 page onto a very slightly stamped 8.5x11 page, and finally mounted that onto a 12x12 that basically had a wheeled image along the bottom. The hostess received both pages. I used the adorable Sale-A-Bration set, Polka Dot Punches and Simply Said stamp sets, along with Wonderful Favorites and an alphabet set.. Cardstock colors and ink are: Kraft, Baja Breeze, Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip and Mellow Moss. I used a bit of of the Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware and some Chocolate Chip ribbon.Tuesday, February 3, 2009
Birthday Scrapbooking

Yay...I'm actually posting a project! These pages for for my new Scrapbook Club that meets this weekend. We decided on a birthday theme. I haven't done paper tearing in my scrapbooking for a long time...so I thought I would try it out with this page. The circles on the torn edges are from the Pick A Petal set. I used the Party Hearty set for most of the layout...love that set...the cupcakes have glitter on them. The cardstock colors are: Very Vanilla, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point. I used the See You Around jumbo wheel, with the Kiwi Kiss ink since it was only 5 1/2" of paper to cover. Now I have my son's 3rd birthday scrapping done...he'll be 6 in June! lol Now, I just need to add the journaling about his special day.

Another Layout

I always do another layout of the Scrapbook pages that I created for my Stamp Club, so that I have pages done for both of my kids' books. This layout turned out a bit different because of her photos. I just switched it a bit for the right page. You can see other layout that I made for my son just a couple posts down.

January Scrapbooking Club Pages
.jpg)
I Isn't my little guy cute? I'll treasure these times that he actually enjoys going to take pictures at a studio! This is a very simple layout. There are red flowers stamped along the red cardstock...just hard to see here. The little holes at the bottom right corner were punched with the Crop-A-Dile. I used the 1" Circle punch to create the large scallops behind the 2 pictures. The Winter Slope DSP was used along the bottoms. The buttons have the White Gel Pen between the holes for a faux sewn look. I try to make my pages pretty neutral so that they will work for boys or girls. Now I'll make the same layout and just throw on my daughter's pictures. I usually make the pages with my son's pictures to keep myself from making it too girly!

November Scrapbook Club Pages

This is the cute, and very simple layout my "Sassy Scrappers" club made this weekend. We used the Color Spritzer Tool on the title mat and did the faux stitching on one photo mat...seemed to go with the theme. We always scrapbook a month behind so they can bring their photos to throw onto their completed pages. I make 2 layouts each month...one for each of my kids. Here's Gordon, my little scarecrow. My little Gaby was Dorothy, of course. :) (Can you tell I love my new 1 3/4" Circle Punch?!)

Scrapbook Club Pages

I had so much fun Scrapbooking with my club members this weekend. My Technique Club made a pizza box w/ matching cards & envelopes...love those! This was a simple layout and the ladies were very happy to complete a double page spread...many haven't had the time to scrapbook at home, so they're thrilled to be able to whip out pages every month! There are 1" circles (from the punch) scattered along the cardstock....just hard to see here. There's also a bit of glitter on the 3 fireworks and we used the See You Around Jumbo Wheel along the bottom, under the white stars. The cardstock colors are: Real Red, Whisper White, Pacific Point and Baja Breeze.
I have some fun class ideas coming up...with my Bind-It-All, I'm planning a Baby's First Year Book, using the adorable baby Simply Scrappin' Kits that Stampin' Up! has. Also, my BIG SHOT Die Cut machine will be here on Wednesday...yippee! That'll surely open the door to tons of classes...I'd love to have a Halloween class. :)
