June Scrap Layout

Here's the layout for my monthly scrapbooking club that we made today. We used the Circle Circus stamp set, which always creates a fun and playful look. I had some Pacific Point card stock from over a year ago, so we got to use it since it's in the new catalog...yay! Click on photos to enlarge.

Things I Love...

I'm lagging on my blog postings lately! These are the pages that my Sassy Scrapbooking Club members made last week. I used some of my goodies that I got from Convention, in case you didn't notice. :) This is probably the simplest layout we've ever made. I made the page, then found these funny, old pictures of my daughter. The pictures show things that she really loves: Her brother, hanging out at her favorite restaurant in Newport Beach, being silly and eating! I love the Dotted Lines Jumbo Wheel to add a fun design, but I also thought it would be perfect for journaling, so I masked off the sides of the journaling paper with sticky notes and wheeled onto the paper for perfect journaling lines.

Convention Bound!

It's finally here...the Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. I can't wait to learn all the great things that are are surely in store for all Stampin' Up! demonstrators. This is my third convention and I think it's going to be an awesome one. They are going to unveil the Digital Scrapbooking that will be available to customers in September.

Here's a quick bag tag that I cranked out with scraps. I really love the Crushed Curry and Melon Mambo together.

Fancy Favor Peacock Box

Ahh...this die is too awesome! My girls had fun using this die at our club meeting. I especially love this box because it needs very little Sticky Strip. First we punched the die out, then stamped the background on using stamps from the Circle Circus set; everyone did their box a bit differently...love that! Then, we attached the 1/2" Polka Dot Melon Mambo ribbon around the box. I thought the peacock from the new Ronald McDonald set was so cute, so I stamped that with the Melon Mambo ink and punched it out with the 1 3/8" Circle Punch, then matted that onto Soft Suede cardstock that was punched out with 2 Round Tab Punch pieces, to create a larger circle.

Recipe: Stamps: Very Thankful, Circle Circus Cardstock: Whisper White, Soft Suede, Kraft Ink: Melon Mambo Accessories: 1/2" Polka Dot Melon Mambo Ribbon, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Round Tab Punch, Big Shot, Stampin' Up! Fancy Favor Box, Sticky Strip

Scrappin' With NEW Goodies

This layout was too fun! I used the *new* decor stencil, Brocade Floursih, to add a design onto the 12x12 Kraft. I just layed the stencil down and sponged Chocolate Chip ink onto the stencil...too easy and fun. It would look nice to sponge a couple colors together too...I'll try that later. It was great to use an In Color Stampin' Write Marker for the Razzle Dazzle flower. I inked up the whole stamp with Mellow Moss then went back with the Rich Razzleberry marker to add a contrasting color. I'm having fun using me new "stuff" and I can't wait to put in my big July 1st order with goodies from the new catalog!

Circle Circus

Here's another card I made with my new goodies. I'm so excited to have this set; I've been waiting for a set like this to coordinate with my circle punches. I layered 2 the 1" and 1 1/4" Circle Punches onto the Scallop Circle Punch, which gave great dimension to the card. I also used dimensionals to lift the Modern Label Punch, which has the greeting. I like to snip down the brad prongs with the Craft & Rubber Scissors when the brad lays close to the edge.
