Embossed Card

I decided to change the So Saffron cardstock to Cameo Coral...I like this a lot better than previous one I posted. Each club member made this card, and my sample went to Michelle, since it's a wedding congrats card...her wedding is this Sunday. We all signed her card. Her favors are the Baskets & Blooms die...isn't that cool?! We embossed the images from the Polka Dot Punches set that are on the ribbon. Also, the Cameo Coral was embossed with the Texturz Plates that go in the Big Shot. The greeting is from the Congrats set. Can you tell I used all my Sale-A-Bration goodies?

Melting Pot

Are you drooling yet?! For my husband's birthday, we went to The Melting Pot in Brea. It was our second time. It's a fondue restaurant and there are A LOT of choices. We got 4 courses...a cheese fondue that came with chips, breads and veggies, then YUMMY salads...my husband got the Capresi Salad which was awesome. Then, we got our seafood and meat platter to cook in the fondue pot, and last and the best...dessert! For each course (expect the salad) the waiter makes the fondue contents at your table. It was sooo yummy! I think the lobster tail was my favorite...and the mushrooms dipped in sauce. This is a great place to go with your special someone, but it's also a lot of fun to go in a group...plan on being there for at least 2 hours.

Party Hearty Tag

I love making tags...someday I'll have a TAG class. :)
I seldom use my Tangerine Tango...so I pulled it out for a bright birthday tag. I also used Riding Hood Red and Bashful Blue. The tag is 3"x3.5". I still love my Party Hearty set. I used the Color Spritzer Tool and Bashful Blue marker to add a bit of color onto the Whisper White cardstock, but that's hard to see in the photo. This is the last project that my Technique Club will make this weekend...I can't wait for my goodies that I preordered from the NEW Occasions Mini Catalog...just in time for my customer workshop next Friday! Have a great weekend. Tomorrow's my hubby's b-day (and my 3 yr. anniversary as a SU! demonstrator!) so we're going to The Melting Pot for dinner...it's a fondue restaurant...yummy!

Yummy Basket

Isn't this cute?! Stampin' Up! has had this basket on the demo. website for a long time, but I found easy directions from Julie Davison (her blog link is on the left bottom). I used Kiwi Kiss for the base and the gorgeous Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper. I used thin strips of Pretty in Pink for the inside of the basket and just ran them through my Paper Crimper. I decided to punch out the "Yummy" Greeting to make it easier and quicker for my club gals. I ran a bit of the red hemp twine through the tag. My Technique Club ladies will make this on Sunday.

Another Texturz Card

This card features the Texturz for the Big Shot...I hope yo can see the fun polka dots...click on photo to see better. I also embossed the stamped images. Can you tell I was using my Sale-A-Bration goodies? Cardstock colors are: So Saffron, Mellow Moss and Chocolate Chip. I got the Chocolate Chip circle by layering 2 of the Round Tab punches together, then I mounted the Scallop Circle punch on top, then the 1" Circle punch. My Technique Club will make this card this weekend.

Bag Topper

I demonstrated this bag this weekend at a workshop. It's very similar to the bag in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. I love the ribbon...it's out of the SAB brochure as well. The Yummy stamp set seems to be one of the favorites from the SAB brochure.

Progressive Scrapbooking

I had a workshop this weekend with Scrap- bookers, so their Make-And-Take project was a 6x6 scrapbook page. I showed them how to incorporate that into a larger layout. So, I placed the 6x6 page onto a very slightly stamped 8.5x11 page, and finally mounted that onto a 12x12 that basically had a wheeled image along the bottom. The hostess received both pages. I used the adorable Sale-A-Bration set, Polka Dot Punches and Simply Said stamp sets, along with Wonderful Favorites and an alphabet set.. Cardstock colors and ink are: Kraft, Baja Breeze, Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip and Mellow Moss. I used a bit of of the Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware and some Chocolate Chip ribbon.
