Baby Emma's Book

I love these baby books! I made one for my nephew, Ian, who will be arriving in June and made this one for my niece, Emma, who will also be arriving in June. My kids are thrilled to have 2 new cousins arriving around their birthdays...both of my kids have June birthdays...what a busy month...and I have my 10 year wedding anniversary then as well!

I made Baby Emma's book just a bit differently from the standard books I've made...I wanted to "doll it up" a bit. You can make 2 books from just one Simply Scrappin' Kit, so this is a great and inexpensive treasure to create so yourself, family or friends. To view more of the inside pages or to get the easy directions for this book, see my blog post HERE.

Baby's First Year Book

Here's another book project! Everyone seems to be popping up pregnant lately, so I thought this would be a good class to have. This book uses the adorable Moments & Milestones Simply Scrappin' Kit and has no stamping involved. Click on photos to enlarge.

I am also offering this as a mail-order KIT, or you can purchase the directions with photos to be emailed to you.

Kit includes: Bound book, precut paper strips for inside, precut monthly journaling, ribbon, scalloped cardstock for cover and die cut letters for name/title. You will need to adhere the remaining pieces of the book, using my step-by-step directions and photos.

Baby's First Year Book

The Baby's First Year Book is complete! I still had a decent amount of leftover cardstock, designer paper and die cuts left over. This book is 8 1/2" x 6". I decided to cover the inside covers with designer paper, as to not leave anything looking plain or unfinished. I did ZERO stamping for this project because my goal was to utilize the supplies included in the Rock-A-Bye Baby Girl Simply Scrappin' Kit. I
couldn't resist using my Big Shot though! I used to Top Note die for the journaling that will go on each month's page. The journaling for the first birthday page is a pocket...I wanted to make that a bit different from the other pages. Baby's picture can go on top of the journaling pocket for that page, and I left plenty of room on each month's page for a picture or two. I will offer this book as a CLASS or MAIL ORDER. Details to come soon! You can make this for a girl, or use the other Simply Scrappin' Kit that's for a baby boy. Click on any photo to see it larger, with more detail.

Beginnings of the Baby Book

I have started working on the baby book...I decided to complete the pages before binding them together with the Bind-It-All machine. So far, the "Baby Girl" page will be the cover, and the "It's a Girl" page will be the first page of the book, where the picture(s) from the hospital will go, along with baby's first information. My goal is to not stamp in the book since there are so many die cuts that can be used to embellish the pages, and there will surely be some leftovers!

Coming Soon....Baby Book!

My Rock A Bye Baby Girl Simply Scrappin' Kit is here...now it's time to create! I wanted to show just how much you get in these awesome kits, and for $19.95, it's a real bargain! I am going to have a "Baby Book Class" soon. I chose to work with the girl kit, so my sample can go to my sister, Karen, who will be welcoming baby girl #3 in a few months. I have started my sketches for this class, and I can't wait to actually sit down and throw the pieces together. This kit also coordinates with the Nursery Necessities stamp set, which I happen to have. :) This will be a Bind-It-All project, and I'll most likely offer this as a kit by mail.
